Max Johnson

I am an associate in our international Corporate Group in London.

I have experience advising on mergers & acquisitions (M&A), private equity (PE), venture capital (VC), and equity capital markets (ECM) transactions across various sectors, including Technology & Communications, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services, and Media, Entertainment and Sports, among others. The matters I work on comprise complex domestic and cross-border transactions utilising the firm's international network and often involve close collaboration with overseas counsel and specialists.

I am also a member of Bird & Bird's India steering group which contributes to the firm's wider strategy within the region.

My previous experience spans intellectual property litigation, debt finance, and large-scale commercial tech transactions. I hold a strong academic background in both UK and EU law. In addition to my professional work, I am actively involved in, and engage with, charitable causes and pro bono projects.
