Michal Liszka

I am a junior associate in the Intellectual Property team.

I have been advising clients since 2018, specialising in intellectual property law and matters involving unfair competition. I have experience in sports law, with a special focus on regulations and contracts in the football transfer market and protection of athletes' image rights.

I advise Polish and international companies on intellectual property matters. I assist clients with their litigation and day-to-day regulatory needs, as well as during proceedings before the Polish Patent Office and EUIPO. I participate in due diligence audits in M&A transactions involving intellectual property, medical and pharmaceutical laws.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I gained experience in leading Polish and international law firms, and legal departments of two major Polish football teams. In addition, I provided legal assistance to an international football management agency.
