About Me

I am an associate in our Intellectual Property group, based in Singapore. I advise on a broad spectrum of IP matters, with a focus on IP disputes and commercialisation.

We live in an increasingly technology-centric world which constantly invites businesses to innovate and stretch the limits of what is possible. I believe that Intellectual Property, harnessed effectively, can be one of the key drivers of a company's growth strategy in this climate of innovation.

Contentious work is a core area of my practice, and I have been involved in litigation, oppositions both in Singapore as well as overseas, and domain name disputes. I am also involved in intellectual property enforcement work, with experience assisting clients in their anti-counterfeiting strategy and prosecuting IP infringers.

I also have experience in portfolio management, IP audits and due diligence, and I often work with clients to effectively commercialise their IP through licensing, assignment, co-branding and talent endorsement agreements.

As part of our firm's global practice, much of my work also involves coordinating and assisting clients in forming a multi-jurisdictional perspective for the issues that they encounter. This allows us to provide crucial value-add in the formulation of our clients' commercial strategy and nuance to their decision making.

My clients are from a diverse spectrum of fields, from the Technology and Life Sciences space to the Media and Retail sector. I strive to build long-lasting relationships with clients and to better understand their concerns, so that I can give cost-effective, sensible and commercially minded advice.
