Raoul Grifoni Waterman

I am an associate in our Commercial and Regulatory & Administrative practices in The Hague. Having focused on the intersection of technology and law since university, I advise a wide array of clients in the technology and communications sectors. I regularly assist clients with both regulatory matters, as well as questions regarding contracting.

I have conducted the legal proceedings for determining its new regulatory position on the Dutch market. With regard to contracting work, I conduct the complex contract negotiations for a specialised payments software provider.

In addition to the aforementioned work, I am heavily involved in the firm's recent international projects. After writing the report for the European Commission's net neutrality study, I currently serve as the sole project coordinator for an EU-wide implementation project regarding the European Electronic Communications Code.

I am a member of the Dutch Association for Information Technology & Law and a board member of its Youth Committee. Furthermore, I obtained master's degrees in law and technology in both the Netherlands, as well as the United States of America. I am admitted to the bar in the Netherlands and the State of New York, USA. I am fluent in Dutch, English and Italian and have intermediate knowledge of French.
