Stanislaw Sodolski

I am a junior associate in the Corporate and M&A team of Bird & Bird.

I have been advising clients since 2018, specialising in civil, commercial and business law, with a particular focus on corporate law issues.

I am involved in M&A transactions involving Polish and foreign entities in various industries, including agriculture, chemicals, energy, medical FMCG and IT. I provide legal support for clients in joint venture projects, and advise both buyers and sellers in sales of shares, businesses or organised parts of an enterprise. I participate in transaction structure planning, conduct due diligence reviews, draft transaction documents, and carry out post-transaction activities.

I also provide day-to-day advice on corporate governance matters, and prepare documents for meetings of corporate bodies, including those relating to changing the composition of the management or supervisory board, approving financial statements, and registering filings as required by law. I have experience advising on employee stock option programmes.

I support domestic and foreign clients set up business in Poland, whether by purchasing a shelf company or creating a new entity. I also advise on reorganising existing businesses and on company transformations, mergers, demergers and liquidation processes.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I gained professional experience working for boutique Polish law firms.
