Tom Green

I am an associate in our Sports and Corporate practices, based in Sydney. I advise our clients on a variety of corporate, commercial, regulatory and contentious matters in the Media, Entertainment and Sports industry.

I work with a range of clients in the sports sector, including national and international sports governing bodies, anti-doping authorities, professional sporting teams, event organisers and athletes. I have particular expertise in the corporate structuring of sporting organisations, and have advised on key structural reforms to major sporting bodies. I enjoy navigating sports and entertainment clients through high-value and strategically important transactions.

I also act for clients in anti-doping matters, including matters before the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and work closely with our clients to draft rules and regulations to address the challenges that they face as sporting regulators. This includes rules which address on- and off-field discipline, and I have specialised expertise in issues around the eligibility of athletes for competition - including on the basis of sex and gender.

My corporate experience includes advising across all stages of both domestic and cross-border M&A transactions.
