I am an associate and qualified attorney at law in our Prague office, specialising in Privacy and Data Protection, IT/IP/TMT, and Transactional Law.
I lead GDPR compliance projects for corporate clients, conducting comprehensive data protection assessments, drafting privacy policies and data processing agreements, and advising on international data transfers. My practice also encompasses advising clients on NIS2 Directive implementation in the Czech Republic.
I advise multinational and domestic clients on complex IT/IP/TMT matters, including software licensing agreements, SaaS contracts, technology transfer agreements, and digital transformation projects. I regularly negotiate and draft complex commercial agreements, including technology services agreements, e-commerce terms and conditions, distribution agreements for digital products, and vendor management contracts.
My journey into intellectual property law was driven by a deep fascination with innovation and its legal protection. Within the multifaceted realm of copyright, trademarks, and trade secrets, I am particularly drawn to matters involving emerging technologies and their implementations. I also handle dispute resolution matters related to data protection violations, breach of software contracts, IP infringement claims, and advise clients on litigation risk assessment and alternative dispute resolution strategies.
Before joining Bird & Bird, I gained extensive experience with supporting GDPR implementation projects for enterprise clients across banking, telecommunications, and technology sectors, and conducted legal research on emerging privacy regulations.
Beyond my practice, I am actively involved in the legal community as a coach for international moot court competitions, where teams I have coached have achieved Best Team and Best Written Submission awards. I also serve as a supervisor at the Electronic Legal Clinic at Charles University, reflecting my commitment to developing the next generation of legal professionals.
