Viviana Lucchesi

I am a senior associate in our IP/IT Group based in Bird & Bird's Milan office, with a particular focus on civil and commercial, IP/IT and pharma-life science matters.

With a background in the civil, commercial, IP/IT and life sciences sectors, I am well positioned to advise on all aspects of IP/IT and business activities in the pharma industry. I am a practical lawyer, flexible to assist clients in any type of smart and complex structures, either on site from an internal legal team perspective or as a partner of the business. I am always positive and have a strong can-do attitude.

In addition, I have been seconded to various international companies in the IT, OTT and pharma sector, gaining deep expertise in company policies, documents required by various internal businesses, drafting and modification of contractual templates and drafting of the local template arising from corporation's template.

I have significant experience of drafting, negotiating and managing national and international contract law with focus on commercial contracts, service agreement, agency, distribution, real estate agreement, partnership and sponsorship, contracts on Internet sites, general conditions, conditions of use, license and research agreement and material transfer agreement.

In addition, I have been working in secondment for various international companies in the IT, OTT and pharma sectors, gaining deep expertise in company policies, documents required by various internal business units, drafting and modification of contractual templates and drafting local templates arising from corporation's templates.

• I have drafted various template agreements in civil and commercial sectors, currently in use by multinationals in the IT and pharma areas.
• In 2007 I was a member of the Commission at the Chamber of Commerce of Milan for the draft - under the Legislative Decree no. 122/2005 regarding the sale of real estate properties of the preliminary contract type and a code of conduct (work coordinated by Prof. Giorgio De Nova).
• In 2006 I was a member of the Use Regulatory Commission and Customs of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan in the review of regulatory purpose uses's collection on real estate matters (update ex law No. 121/1910, r.d. No. 2011/1934, Ministerial Decree 16.05.2000).
• I published a Legal Guide on Civil Code, with forms and fac-simile 'The lawyer in the drawer', De Vecchi Editore, Milan, 2003 -legal treatise to explain Private Law (co-author). Moreover I co-wrote an essay on civil cases entitled 'Buildings to be built', published in three tranches in a specialist magazine 'The building property', 2007. N. 1, 2. 3. (essay on the D.lgs. law 122/2005, of its distinctive features and issues of greater interest.
• Finally, as co-author for the ITALY section, 'ecommerce' I collaborated on the textbook 'Ecommerce law in Europe and USA' Gerald Spindler and Fritjof Börner publishers, Springer, 2002, legal treatise on e-commerce's law in Europe and in America.
