D.L. Bollette (Energy Decree)

On 21 February 2026, Decree Law No. 21 of 20 February 2026 was published in the Official Gazette (hereinafter the “D.L. Bollette”) was published in the Official Gazette, whereby the Government approved “Urgent measures to reduce the cost of electricity and gas for households and businesses, to boost business competitiveness and decarbonise industry, as well as urgent provisions to resolve the virtual saturation of electricity grids and integrate data processing centres into the electricity system”.
