I am a partner in our Helsinki office and the head of our Finnish Dispute Resolution group and the co-head of our international Trade Secret group. I have a lot of experience in demanding litigations and arbitrations and trade secret matters.
Finland’s Supreme Court has on the 5th of November decided not to grant a leave to appeal in Finland's biggest trade secret trial. Some of the respondents applied for leave to appeal, as did the prosecutor for the loss of the proceeds of crime. We have been assisting Nokian Tyres since 2011.
The judgment of the Turku Court of Appeal from 19th of June 2019 therefore remains final and the eight-year process has been completed. Our corporate crime and international trade secret practices are thus heading towards new challenges.
