Bird & Bird named most active clean energy legal adviser in the Clean Energy League Table 2025

International law firm Bird & Bird has been ranked the Most Active Legal Adviser in both Clean Energy Project Financing and M&A transactions, resulting in being named as one of the Most Influential Law Firms in Renewable Energy.

The firm ranked second place in both categories, highlighting our integral role in supporting clean energy development and financing. Bird & Bird took the lead in deal count, advising on 88 transactions and ranking second by influence for clean energy project financing.

In the M&A rankings, the firm were once again the most active firm by number of deals (86), placing second by influence. The 2025 edition of the Clean Energy Legal League Tables report ranks the most influential law firms in the global renewable energy market. Clean Energy Pipeline's ranking system is based on the work of the law firms as legal advisers on Project Finance and M&A transactions in the renewable energy sector in 2024. Clean Energy Pipeline's Influence Factor methodology, evaluates firms by the number and aggregate value of transactions advised, the rankings reflect each Bird & Bird?s level of engagement in the sector.
