The transaction marks a significant milestone for Signalbolaget, which is based in Borlänge, Sweden, and employs approximately 50 people with a turnover of around SEK 80 million. Signalbolaget is recognized for its expertise in the development and maintenance of the Swedish railway network, with a particular focus on signaling technology.

The Bird & Bird team was led by partner Henrik Nobel (Corporate/Stockholm), supported by Senior Associate Sofia Ekeryd (Corporate/Stockholm).

Commenting on the transaction, Henrik Nobel says: “We are delighted to have supported Signalbolaget Holding AB and its founders in this important transaction. Signalbolaget’s strong position within Swedish railway signaling and infrastructure maintenance is a testament to the dedication and expertise of its team. This divestment will enable Signalbolaget to continue its growth journey as part of a larger infrastructure group, and we are proud to have played a role in facilitating this next step.”
