International law firm Bird & Bird advises Secret Escapes, a leading members-only luxury travel online provider, on the sale of Slevomat Group to Genesis Capital, a Czech-based private equity investor active in the CEE region.
Bird & Bird advised on the local financing aspects, including outbound financing and the release of security, and on local transaction closing matters, alongside Taylor Wessing UK, the lead counsel on the transaction.
In 2017, the acquisition of Slevomat, on which Bird & Bird also advised, which at the time was the largest ever in the Czech internet market.
