I am a senior counsel in our Portugal office with extensive experience in commercial contracts and technology related matters, specialising in TMT, software, IP and e-commerce services and transactions, including consumer protection.

I have extensive experience in TMT, intellectual property, data protection, regulatory matters and administrative litigation. I provide day‑to‑day legal support to multinational companies operating in highly regulated sectors, combining deep knowledge of telecommunications, digital technologies and e‑commerce with a solid practice in privacy, information security, authorship rights/copyrights and commercial contracts.

My practice includes advising on emerging technology projects and contracts, with a particular focus on software, data governance, digital infrastructure and services. I support both domestic and international clients in interpreting and implementing complex regulatory frameworks and enforcement, including the GDPR, EECC, NIS1 and NIS2 and sector‑specific telecommunications legislation and cybersecurity regimes. I also provide ongoing legal support for digital business models, including online platforms, omnichannel retail, and regulated digital services.

I am also a regular contributor to leading international legal guides (Chambers, IP Stars, GTDT), providing expert analysis on GDPR, Artificial Intelligence, TMT and digital business topics.

• TMT & Regulation: Advising operators and digital service providers on regulatory compliance, licensing and radio spectrum management. Supporting projects involving telecommunications infrastructure, voice and data services and digital connectivity. Assisting in administrative and sanctioning proceedings before national regulators.
• Artificial Intelligence & Digital Governance: Advising on the assessment, contracting and implementation of AI systems, including EU AI Act requirements. Analysing risk classification, data governance, accountability, IP ownership and system security. Drafting and negotiating technology contracts, including SaaS, cloud and digital services agreements.
• Intellectual & Industrial Property: Advising clients on authorship rights / copyright and trade secrets. Supporting IP strategy development, namely for software, digital assets and contractual arrangements.
• Technology & Commercial Contracts: Negotiating commercial and technology agreements, including software licensing, cloud services, platform contracts and e‑commerce frameworks. Providing end‑to‑end support on digital transformation initiatives and innovative business models.
• Consumer Protection & E‑Commerce: Advising retail, fashion and lifestyle companies on consumer protection and e‑commerce regulatory compliance. Drafting online terms and conditions, privacy notices and digital compliance frameworks. Handling consumer complaints and interactions with supervisory authorities.
