I am an associate in our Intellectual Property team in London, specialising in brand management.
My primary focus is on assisting clients with all aspects of brand management, including advising on filing and maintenance, brand expansion, and enforcement strategies. This includes assessing the breadth of protection required, clearance searches, future proofing and targeted enforcement. I have worked with a range of clients, from start-ups to long-standing brands, across a variety of sectors including retail and leisure, health and wellbeing, fashion, travel and transport, financial services, technology, telecommunications, and entertainment.
I have experience in advising clients on IP customs registrations and counterfeiting, and work with our teams internationally to put sufficient customs protections in place around the world.
I act for clients in contentious trade mark matters, and regularly work on opposition and cancellation proceedings before the UK and EU Intellectual Property Offices. I also advise on settlement negotiations and related agreements.
I support clients with commercial aspects of IP, such as negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, including co-existence agreements and assignments.
I also have experience advising clients on corporate and restructuring matters, carrying out IP due diligence for corporate transactions, IP audits, and drafting contracts related to complex licensing and assignment arrangements.
I am a member of IPSoc and AIPPI and enjoy attending seminars and talks to broaden my knowledge of the latest developments in IP law. I have a Master's degree in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art and have a particular interest in art-related legal matters.
