About Me

I'm an Associate in our Madrid office, specialising in Intellectual Property and IT: copyright, trademarks, designs, patents, domain names, geographical indications/appellations of origin, trade secrets, image rights, privacy and unfair competition.

I am a service-minded Spanish lawyer, who really enjoys working on an international environment and helping my clients with their legal issues.

As a lawyer specialising in Intellectual Property and IT, I advise individuals and companies in the protection and commercialisation of intangible assets, and in the negotiation and drafting of license or assignment agreements in connection with trademarks, copyright, image rights, patents, industrial designs and trade secrets. I have experience across a wide range of intellectual property work and, specifically, in civil and criminal litigation in intellectual property matters. I mainly advise companies and entities operating in sectors related to technology, media, entertainment and Life Sciences & Healthcare.

In essence, my work includes intellectual property-related pre-contentious and contentious matters, advising large companies and individuals on intellectual property matters, and representing companies in complex transactions.

I have been professor of Intellectual Property in certain master's degrees and courses at different universities and entities (e.g. the University Carlos III of Madrid, and the Spanish Compliance Association -ASCOM-). I am a lawyer of the Madrid Bar Association; and a member of DENAE (Spanish Entertainment Law Association) and LES (Licensing Executives Society) Spain and Portugal.

I am a regular contributor to national and international legal studies, and I am author of numerous articles on intellectual property and new technologies. I have been awarded First Prize for my work and contributions in the field of copyright in several legal contests. I have been a speaker at conferences and seminars at various universities and entities, such as the University of Deusto and the University of Vigo.

I consider not only the legal aspects of a matter but also my clients' business reality and needs, and I look forward to hearing your concerns and priorities as I am always looking for my next challenge.
