Dylan McGirr

I am an associate in the Competition and Commercial Groups based in our Sydney office.

I am a motivated lawyer with experience advising clients on competition and consumer law, telecommunications law, and general regulatory and commercial issues.

In particular, I regularly assist in advising the firm's clients on competition law, including merger clearance, cartel conduct, and anti-competitive agreements. This includes undertaking legal research, drafting advice, reviewing contracts and agreements, and assisting with the preparation of submissions to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. I am passionate about competition and consumer issues in relation to digital platforms.

I mainly work with clients in the technology and communications sector, and particularly enjoy working in a sector with new technologies such as 5G and LEO satellites.

I also have experience in litigation and disputes after rotating through the firm's Dispute Resolution practice group.
