I am a lawyer in the Dispute Resolution Group in Sydney, focused on assisting clients in the technology, communications and media sectors navigate complex legal issues and disputes.

My international background and diverse legal experiences enable me to work effectively with clients in different sectors across the globe and provide innovative solutions to complex legal problems.

Having lived and studied in several major cities across Asia, Australia and Europe, I have gained a deep understanding of the commercial and legal landscapes in those regions, allowing me to appreciate the cultural nuances in legal matters and bring a unique international perspective to my legal practice.

I have experience advising clients on various high value and intricate contentious and non-contentious matters. For example, some of the contentious matters that I have been involved in include cross-border commercial litigations, IP litigations, defamation disputes, consumer law disputes, international commercial arbitration, domain name dispute resolution and regulatory investigations arising from major data breaches. As for non-contentious matters, I have advised clients on privacy and data protection, AI regulation, ICT contracts, standard form and consumer contracts, IP protection and strategies, product compliance and trade promotions.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I worked in the public sector, providing legal assistance to NSW government agencies involved in court proceedings and coronial inquiries. I also held academic research roles during my undergraduate studies in an internationally recognised legal research centre in Sydney and a top-ranked law school in Hong Kong, conducting comparative law research on a wide range of cutting-edge legal issues.

I am particularly passionate about helping clients navigate and resolve legal disputes arising from the interface between law and technology. I enjoy keeping up to date with new legal and technological developments around the world and engaging in interdisciplinary conversations to better understand the implications of these changes.
