As an attorney who specialises in intellectual property law, I combine my enthusiasm and knowledge of the field with my desire to represent the interests of my clients in the best possible manner.
My practice focuses on general advice and disputes in the areas of copyright, trademarks, patents, databases, designs, trade names and trade secrets. I work with a variety of clients from start-ups in the tech industry, to larger companies and global corporate businesses.
In addition to my work as a lawyer, I am also active as an academic. With three years of experience researching and lecturing on national and international IP law at a Dutch university, I have published various articles and participated in expert panels on policy issues in order to contribute to the overall improvement of the legal IP framework.
I am very much interested in new technological developments and the interplay with IP rights. One of my recent publications involves a call upon the European legislator to introduce new IP rights for the protection of creations of artificial intelligence.
