About Me

I advise stakeholders in corporate restructures, special situations and turnarounds. Our clients typically have exposures to, or interests in, domestic or cross-border investments, transactions or special situations which may involve counterparties in, or at risk of, distress. I represent public or private companies and their boards, private equity or portfolio companies, investors, financiers or external administrators. My assignments are both contentious and non-contentious.

I focus on identifying opportunities to manage and leverage risk commercially. I regularly work with domestic and international colleagues in finance, corporate M&A, tax and related disciplines. My practice covers many sectors, but I have particular expertise across financial services, energy and utilities, infrastructure and construction, technology, aviation, and retail and consumer goods.
I have an Australian-based practice, which also reaches into Asia-Pacific jurisdictions and beyond. I work on special situations assignments in various established and emerging markets across ASEAN and in India, bringing to bear my deep understanding of how business is conducted throughout the region. I also work on restructuring mandates emanating out of the US, the UK, MENA and the EU. I bring a considered and collaborative approach when advising stakeholders in special situations, and I am known for delivering solutions which achieve both strategic and commercial objectives.
