Bird & Bird appoints a high-profile employment partner in Düsseldorf

Thomas Hey is an employment law specialist with over 20 years of experience in this field. He has been working for Clifford Chance since 1996, and has been a partner since 2000. He has also been the head of the German employment law practice since 2013. Thomas Hey specialises in individual and collective employment law, employment contract law and social security law. He conducts negotiations with trade unions as well as personnel and works councils. He advises on supervisory board topics and oversees transactions and restructurings. His sector focus is on national and international companies in banking and financial services, life sciences, retail and consumer goods.

Bird & Bird is expanding its employment law practice worldwide. The first step began with Dr. Barbara Geck joining the Frankfurt office on 1 January 2017.
