Bird & Bird and the Finnish Olympic Committee Enter Partnership

International law firm Bird & Bird announces a new partnership with the Finnish Olympic Committee. Through this collaboration, Bird & Bird will provide its legal expertise to support the Finnish Olympic Committee’s legal needs, thereby contributing to their goals in Finland, including promoting sports, fostering talent, and supporting athletes’ well-being

The partnership is aligned with the firm’s global five-year strategy where Bird & Bird introduced a ‘10,000 hours pledge’, committing each of the firm's partners to spend at least five hours a year on responsible business initiatives.

Pia Ek, partner at Bird & Bird in Finland, comments: “We are thrilled to begin this partnership with the Finnish Olympic Committee. Our firm is committed to giving back to the community, and this collaboration allows us to support an organisation that plays a crucial role in promoting sports and healthy lifestyle in Finland.”

Lauri Ijäs, Account Manager at the Finnish Olympic Committee, adds: “We are delighted to partner with Bird & Bird in Finland. Their legal expertise will be invaluable in helping us achieve our mission of promoting sports and supporting athletes across Finland. We are truly excited about the positive outcomes this partnership can bring.”

The partnership will continue at least until the end of 2028.
