Bird & Bird recently advised 7R Słupsk Sp. z o.o., part of the 7R group, a leading commercial property developer, on the sale of a modern warehouse facility located near Słupsk. The property was purchased by the CRISTAL Life fund, managed by the French company Inter Gestion REIM, for which this transaction marks its first entry into the Polish real estate market.
The project was led by Marcin Świerżewski (Partner, Real Estate), and supported by [the Bird & Bird Warsaw] Real Estate team Karol Nowaczek (Associate,), Jolanta Kuśnierz-Surma (Associate) and Wiktoria Wiecha (Lawyer). The team accompanied the client at all stages of the transaction, including during the due diligence process conducted by the buyer and in the preparation and negotiation of the transaction documentation.
Bartłomiej Sikora (Senior Counsel, Tax) and Mateusz Bednarski (Senior Associate, Tax) were responsible for the tax aspects of the transaction, including advising on the preparation of an application for an individual tax interpretation.
"We are delighted to have been able to assist 7R in this transaction. The sale of 7R Park Słupsk to the Inter Gestion REIM fund is an excellent example of the strong interest of foreign investors in the Polish warehouse market, which remains one of the most dynamic in Europe. We congratulate our client on the completion of the transaction and look forward to continuing our fruitful cooperation," said Marcin Świerżewski.
