I am a dispute resolution specialist. Whilst I greatly enjoy a fierce fight before a judge, my true passion lies in finding a win-win solution for my clients outside of the courtroom.
What I admire the most about my work in dispute resolution is the incredible variety of my cases. From software infringements and faulty vehicle parts to the quality of local beer, I take the opportunity to discover the nuances of each of my clients' businesses. This is important for me because I am a great supporter of interest-based dispute resolution. I believe that exploring my clients' needs allows me to design tailor-made strategies for them in any situation.
Having worked on a number of business-oriented projects, I have gained a solid background in corporate and commercial law. Thanks to this perspective, I was able to assist my clients in cases involving, for example, shareholder litigation or disputes over international sale of hardware.
During my studies and to this day I have been involved in a number of volunteer projects focusing on teaching law to non-lawyers. I have worked with high school students, senior citizens, prisoners and even the general public. This experience has shown me that to really understand something means being able to explain it to just about anyone. This is how I learnt to communicate in plain and direct language that everybody can understand right away.
