I am an associate in our Competition team in London.
My work covers all aspects of competition law, including merger clearance, restrictive trade practices, and cartel investigations. I also advise on foreign direct investment control.
I particularly enjoy working with clients to guide them through complex multi-jurisdictional matters. Whether advising on clearance strategy as part of a global merger control mandate, or advising our clients on the competition law implications of cross-border commercial arrangements, collaborating with lawyers across our offices highlights the depth of the expertise at Bird & Bird.
I am an Australian qualified lawyer and, prior to joining Bird & Bird in London, I was an associate in the Competition and Regulatory team in the firm's Sydney office. In that role I advised our clients on competition law as well as Australia's telecommunications regulatory regime. I maintain a strong interest in the intersection between these two practice areas.
Prior to my admission as a lawyer, I worked in policy and legislative monitoring and reporting in the Press Gallery at Parliament House, Canberra. As a regulatory lawyer, I continue to benefit from this experience when advising clients on navigating complex and evolving regulatory frameworks, particularly in fast-moving sectors like tech and communications.
