New trade mark partner and team to join Bird & Bird in Hamburg

Bird & Bird is pleased to announce that recognised trade mark specialist Frederik Thiering is set to join as a partner in its Hamburg office in the new year.

Frederik will join by 1 May 2020 at the latest, along with Marion Jacob as Senior Counsel, plus two other associates and two trade mark specialists. The team advises and represents companies in the field of intellectual property and competition law, with a focus on trade mark and design law in all its facets. Frederik is particularly well known for his expertise in litigation, while Marion is more specialised in portfolio management. In particular, they advise clients from the automotive, media, entertainment and sports industries.
