International law firm Bird & Bird further boosts its Corporate practice with the arrival of new partner Giovanni Gazzaniga in Milan.
With over 30 years’ experience, Giovanni advises Italian and international clients on a wide range of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A) across various sectors, including food and beverage, life sciences, energy, and TMT industries. He also has extensive experience advising on complex private equity deals involving financial structuring and negotiations, as well as public acquisitions, spin-offs, and joint ventures. Giovanni joins Bird & Bird from A&O Shearman where he was a partner for 18 years in the corporate practice.
Bird & Bird continues to grow its Corporate practice at pace with 12 hires this year. Giovanni’s arrival further demonstrates the international Corporate practice’s ambitious growth objectives in key areas such as private equity, M&A, venture capital, and equity capital markets.
Giovanni joins the firm alongside associate Nicolo Baruffi.
