Bird & Bird represented a Finnish private equity firm Juuri Partners in its investment to DAF Group, a Nordic company in charge of managing and developing the business of Subway-restaurants in Finland and Sweden. Through the investment, Juuri Partners becomes a significant minority shareholder in DAF Group accelerating Subway’s growth in Finland and Sweden. Currently, Finland and Sweden in total have nearly 340 Subway-restaurants with over 3000 employees.
