Iina-Mari Supperi

I am the co-head of our office in Helsinki and the Head of Corporate our Finnish Corporate and M&A group. I use my expertise to advise clients on M&A transactions at the Nordic level and internationally. Additionally, I advise clients on securities markets regulation and franchising related questions.

Together with my colleagues in our Bird & Bird offices, I advise both private equity and industrial clients across multiple industry sectors on M&A transactions. During recent years I have worked, particularly, in the Tech & Comms and Healthcare sectors. I have experience acting for clients on transactions at the Nordic level and internationally, with my role as partner often including coordinating teams across multiple jurisdictions. Project management is essential to our client service in complex transaction projects. My calm and to-the-point approach as well as my project management skills are valued by our clients.

In addition, I have expertise of securities markets related issues, as my background includes working for a local stock exchange operator. Armed with this experience, I also assist our clients in various securities markets related matters from prospectuses to day-to-day questions related to insider regulation and duty of disclosure.

Further, I also work with franchising and having gained knowledge particularly in franchise agreements I have a good understanding of the importance of well-functioning franchise agreements for the running of a successful franchising operation.
