Bird & Bird has assisted the Danish private equity fund Axcel and its portfolio company, itm8, with the acquisition of CBC ComputerBusinessCenter GmbH ("CBC"), itm8’s German market entry.
itm8 is a leading Nordic digital transformation partner enabling solutions for cloud services, digital transformation, application services, and cyber security.
CBC is active in the development of software and the provision of all services required for the design and maintenance of IT systems, in particular managed service on demand (software) as well as the trade, rental, maintenance and servicing of computers and IT components (hardware).
The Bird & Bird core team consisted of partners Mette Mernø Hans Jakobsen, Jesper Langemark, Stefan Münch, Morten Nissen, Dr. Stephan Waldheim, Ivan Kisely and associates Janine Lanfermann-Schmid, Kilian Hummel, Kristoffer Saceanu Saugman, Tamy Tietze and Nanna Krabbe.
