Bird & Bird advises BA Glass on acquisition of Recresco Limited

International law firm Bird & Bird has advised BA Glass on its strategic acquisition of Recresco Limited, a leading glass recycling operation based in the United Kingdom.

BA Glass is the fourth largest glass packaging producer in the world, with operations across Europe and Mexico. The acquisition of Recresco will enable BA Glass to operate in the United Kingdom for the first time as well as assisting in its goal of reducing its carbon footprint by 50% by 2035.
